Choosing the Colour for our Cinema Room

I'm currently trying to choose a colour for the walls for what will be affectionately known as the Cinema Room - It's actually a playroom/TV room for the children off our Kitchen - technically it should be our formal dining room but in reality with small children I think the need for a space for them to play in with their friends greatly outweighs our need for formal dining right now. Previously this room was a narrow, dark cold kitchen but now the room has been freshly plastered with new windows and a roof light and I'm keen to make sure this room feels warm and inviting as well as being practical and child friendly.

One of the colours I'm considering is Jitney from Farrow & Ball - I think part of my consideration comes from it's name and description -

A relaxed Brown Based Neutral - This earthy colour sits somewhere between the more traditional Oxford Stone and greyer Elephant's Breath. Though muted, it is incredibly uplifting and reminds us of lazy days by the sea – hence sharing its name with the bus that whisks New Yorkers out of the hot city to the similarly coloured sandy beaches of the Hamptons.
I'm originally from the coast and feel inspired by anything seaside related - particularly when it steps away from the stereotypical blue, only for me instead of being a bus that whisked me from New York to the Hamptons, it's a little more car ride in the 80's from Lancaster to Morecambe - although obviously that doesn't have the same ring to it!

I love how in the last example, a gloss ceiling is used, our cinema room has a fairly low ceiling but a large roof light to allow the room to bathe in as much daylight as possible, the gloss ceiling would certainly allow light  to bounce around the room and prevent that low ceiling feeling.
